"Few children diagnosed within their early years -before 5- with one of the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), lose their symptoms and even the diagnose when they grow up", according to the conclusions shown in a research study promoted by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).
During last 2012, more than 180 people attended the trainings given by the Planeta Imaginario Foundation throughout Spain. These courses are addressed to students, teachers, relatives and other professionals that work with people with ASD in both social and educational spheres.

Last June 2012, the Planeta Imaginario foundation was awarded by BBVA with one of the "Territorios Solidarios" awards. BBVA funds these social projects which try to bring social benefit trough non-profit organizations.
The project carried out by the Planeta Imaginario Foundation is fully funded by the "Territorios Solidarios" department from BBVA. With their donation, specialists in treatment of children with ASD can go to different schools and offer an specific training about the school intervention for children with ASD; being this training completely free for the schools.
