Planeta Imaginario Foundation, through our Social Project assisting other entities, collaborates with the social company Dinamiks Education Leisure and Sport in the BTTEA Project, that has the aim of bringing sports to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through bicicles.
Since October and until June, staff from Planeta Imaginario Foundation together with staff from Dinamiks, work to increase Self-care Skills of a group of children with ASD, with the goal of increasing their psychomotor activity, encouraging their social skills and of course learning and enjoying riding a bicycle.
The training department of Planeta Imaginario Foundation closes the year 2015 with a very positive balance with the training activities developed during last year, focused in ABA methodology for children with autism.
During the last year there have been a total number of 15 workshops in cities as Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Malaga, Ibiza and others abroad like Argentina, United States or Chile. Concurrently, Planeta Imaginario Training has stablished agreements with universities as the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the International University of Catalonia and the University of Seville.
Planeta Imaginario Foundation took part in the Conference about Autism Spectrum Disorder organized by Psicocat Orientació organization from Martorell and in collaboration with ASSOTEA and l'Ajutament de Martorell.
Lots of reference professionals from the ASD field attended the event, such as Berta Salvado (Neuropsychologist and Director of COADI), Jose Manuel Segundo (Psychologist and Training Director of Specialistern), as well as CIEL center, represented by Dr. Gladys Williams’ team. The two-day conference ended with Víctor Rodríguez, Director of Planeta Imaginario Foundation, who made an introduction to theoretical and practical bases in language development and socialization for kids with autism.
The aim of this conference was giving a general vision about Autism Spectrum Disorder, detection, diagnose orientation and intervention.
Planeta Imaginario Foundation took a new training program in the USA, at the Lovaas Institute of Minnesota. Víctor Rodríguez, Foundation’s Director, visited the center, managed by Eric Larsson, President with Honours of the Planeta Imaginario Foundation and CEO at Lovaas Institute for Early Intervention.
As every year, the Foundation gets updated by doing training with Eric Larsson’s team, with the goal of updating ABA procedures we use. It is a pleasure knowing we have the opportunity of being trained by the main reference center in the world.
Concurrently, Planeta Imaginario Foundation was invited to take part at “Autism Law Summit” organized by Autism Speak. This event had the aim of spreading the need to make legal changes that promote grants on ABA treatments for kids with ASD.
Planeta Imaginario Foundation wants to welcome our new internship students for this year 2015-2016.
As every year, it is a pleasure for Planeta Imaginario staff to help complementing professional's background who come to the Foundation as their internship center.
Currently, the Foundation admit students from different centers and Universities, such as Autonomous University of Barcelona (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), Complutense University of Madrid (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), University of Sevilla and Open University of Catalonia (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya).
Planeta Imaginario Foundation will be part of the teaching staff in the Third Generation Therapies and New Technologies’ Application in Psychological Treatment Master Program.

Planeta Imaginario Foundation, as referral center in in ABA methodology, is specialized in developing Training programsTraining programs based in Applied Behavior Analysis for treatment and/or intervention for children with autism (ASD).
Working with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) is a constant challenge, that’s why a specific training is something that families and professionals require and need to deal with children with autism.
In Planeta Imaginario Foundation we are aware of that and put at community’s disposal –professionals and families- our technic knowledge, supported by research and clinic practice developed at Lovaas Institute and its respective Official Replica Centers.

Planeta Imaginario Foundation took part at I Autism Awarness-raising Conference in Ibiza organized by Apfem Association.
The conference was a meeting point to enhance dialoge and think about diversity in Education for professionals and families based in Ibiza with the objective of giving tips and orientations in treating with diversity.
From planeta Imaginario Training, we wolud like to show our gratitude to all students who took our workshop "Monogr(à)fics Project", last weekend in Ibiza.
We talked about behavior and learning basics, as theoretical framework to develop the main modules during the workshop: abilities in Autonomy Habits and techniques to reduce Tantrums. From clinic approach, we learnt procedures to increase and drecease behaviors.
Planeta Imaginario Training has given during last week a workshop at the International University of Catalonia (UIC) addressed to students from Education Degree emphasising in Special Education. Workshops have been focused on introducing basic concepts related with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and school integration.
